#BuildBackBetter: The imperative of Global Citizenship Education

At the closure of the 3-years project the 14 partners of Get Up and Goals! are organizing an event to get teachers, educators and institutions together.

In times that some call a pan-crisis, the challenges that our environment and our societies are facing are increasingly interconnected. In order to understand the extent of the change and to direct it towards achieving SDGs, schools can play a fundamental role.

The multistakeholder seminar will be held online on November 20, 2020 with the aim of defining future ways to bring SDGs to the European schools.

The goals:

  • To engage stakeholders in a dialogue about GCE’s contribution to quality education, the role of teaching and learning tools, the relevance of assessments and the importance of teachers’ training
  • To share practices and experiences and to provide the opportunity of an exchange among stakeholders with different backgrounds
  • To develop a final plan to include GCE and SDGs in all school levels

The seminar will be attended by representatives of institutions, universities, Civil Society Organizations and schools from the 12 European countries involved in the project.
