The International Seminar on Global Citizenship Education is back : now in its 14th edition, this time the meetings will be held online on Zoom on 10th and 11th September. Each lesson will be available in both Italian and English.
The debate around the new school year doubts mainly focuses on issues such as desks, distancing and other ways of resuming school activities in this new context created by the Coronavirus epidemic that is still out there.
These are important issues for returning to school safely and we think that teachers and students will also need moments of discussion and analysis to understand the transformations that the pandemic has brought among us, in our societies, in global society and how pandemic affects the other emergencies with which humanity is confronted, first of all the environmental emergency.
The XIV Intercultural Seminar of Senigallia will be for this reasons a moment of study, of which the teachers and operators of the school are in great need. It will see a participation articulated by several countries, including interventions in both Italian and English accompanied by simultaneous translation, moments of discussion for small groups and dialogue with the experts who will intervene.

On the afternoon of Friday 11 September it will be possible to participate in one of the 5 workshops that will take place at the same time and will allow in-depth courses on methodologies and useful tools both in face-to-face teaching and in distance teaching.
Tenured teachers must also register on the SOFIA platform where the course will be duly registered as CVM is a subject accredited by the Ministry of Education for the training of teaching staff.
